An unexpected buck coming from an unexpected place at an unexpected time made for a great Christmas present. Gaugler shot this, his biggest buck, on the opening day afternoon. During the last weekend of the 2004 Regular Season, Jerrod took advantage scoring his largest buck at the time. Opening weekend of the 2007 Southern Zone Regular Season was a great success. New York State is not necessarily known for its monster bucks and you will never see New York on the hunting channel producing big bucks in every woodlot like in the trophy states however, deer hunting is a culture. This is where our passion stems from and where most of us begin our hunting careers. Deer hunting, no matter what state you are from, is what first sparks that addiction, allowing that passion for the outdoors to grow.
