Gaugler shot this nice Montgomery County 9-pointer in middle of the 2011 Southern Zone Regular Deer Season. He was joined with friend Justin Craig and his younger brother Sean. This was the first year that NYS Regular Season big game hunting was opened up for 14-year olds as long as accompanied by a direct family member or legal guardian over the age of 21. Although we could not give him the chance to harvest his own deer, the experience will stay with him as he sparks his own interest in the sport.
