During the last weekend of the 2004 Regular Season, during the last year this county would be a shotgun zone, Jerrod took advantage scoring his largest buck at the time. Overlooking a large over-grown brush field, Jerrod let out an intimidation grunt from his True Talker. To his astonishment, this large buck stood up and emerged from the brush-coming in and ready to fight. Two shots in the chest, and this buck still managed to run and elude for 500 yards before finally being tracked down. His age and weight were never analyzed, but pictures alone would say he was at least a mature 3 1/2 year old around 200 pounds. The buck scored 137.
